The breads listed below are from our 2021 menu. Our daily bread schedule fluctuates slightly week to week and seasonally. Call or drop by the store for a list of our current daily selections.
A sourdough bread that is a ‘basic’ (and classic!) as they come. But we don’t like to say it’s plain as it is the best bread to showcase the unique flavour of sourdough.
Hands down our most popular sourdough. Made with nine different grains and seeds some of which include whole wheat, quinoa and sunflower.
A beautiful bread, rich and deep in colour. 50% organic Red Fife flour. Simple and tasty.
Currant + Orange
Predominately a white sourdough this lightly sweet bread is full of currants and orange zest. Makes the most amazing Sunday morning french toast.
Dense & Misunderstood
Seeded & Sprouted Spelt + Rye
Made with local organic spelt and rye flour this is a german style bread full of sprouted seeds and health benefits. Best eaten sliced thinly with your favourite cheese. Two sizes available.
Red Fife & Toasted Sesame
Made with local and organic Red Fife flour and toasted sesame seeds throughout.
Crusty and perfect with your favourite soup or just simply enjoyed with oil and vinegar.
Available most day at the bakery. Topped with seasonally inspired vegetables and herbs. This generously portioned bread makes a great savoury breakfast or lunch.
Sunflower + Flax
Pictured below, this bread is a staff favourite! Shaped into a pan/sandwich loaf it contains 25% Red Fife whole wheat flour and an abundance of sunflower seeds and flax seeds.
This is a very rustic style bread, one we call a 'pull apart bread'. Great for entertaining and often made with a generous amount of olives.
Light Rye + Caraway
Made with locally milled organic light rue flower and whole caraway seeds.
